Animals need the right conditions
to be kept responsible in captivity...

Temperature

Every species needs its own temperature, with a change between night and day, depending upon the animal.
Amphibians and reptiles are cold blooded and search for
the perfect temperature to digest their meal.
So your vivarium should have different temperature
ranges to let them choose from.
We have different temperature meters as well as temperature controllers. They all have a day/night shift,
as well as a heating/cooling switch.

Heating can be done through a heating cable, placed on
a specific part of the vivarium or through the heat of the lamps in the light hood in combination with a ventilator that blows the warm air inside the vivarium.

Humidity

Amphibians have a thin skin so they evaporate a lot of water, that is the reason that they need a high humidity.
Especially suited is our Basic Misting System, the nozzle’s produce a mist that floats on air.
In combination with one of our timers or our hygrostat you can create the exact humidity  that your animals want.

Lighting

Amphibians and reptiles need UV light to transform the calcium you give them to body own calcium that they can absorb, as well as for their well being.
So we have a UVA-UVB 9 watt tube that produces the right spectrum. We have also a big spectrum of tubes from 24 to 80 watt for universal lighting of your animals.

Water quality

Animals in the tropics get their water from rain showers,
with pure water. To simulate this conditions, we have different water purifiers

To give you some inspiration we have given you some samples of amphibians and reptiles under there submenu’s
